The Arizona Department of Commerce recently participated at CeBIT 2008 in Hannover, Germany. During this trade show ADOC was able to promote Arizona communities with ICT industry clusters and was part of a larger effort to help grow Arizona's dynamic and reputable ICT industry. The show provided the ability to reach industry leaders, decision makers, customers and potential customers. With over 6,153 exhibiting companies from 77 countries and 480,000 trade show visitors, CeBIT 2008 was the premier locationt o showcase new products and services. Thousands of worldwide companies were looking to establish strategic partnersihps with organizations just like yours. BIO 2008

The Arizona Department of Commerce recently participated at BIO 2008 in San Diego, California. During this conference and trade show ADOC was able to promote Arizona communities and Bioscience industry clusters, which was part of a larger effort to help grow Arizona's dynamic and reputable bioscience industry. The 2008 BIO International Convention, produced by the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). Attendees hailed from 70 countries and 48 states, as well as 4,270 attendees and exhibitors from California. The attached document is a list of the companies we talked to with their websites. Farnborough 2008

The Arizona Department of Commerce recenlty praticipated at Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) 2008 in Farnborough, United Kingdom. During this trade show ADOC was able to promote Arizona communities and Aerospace industry clusters, which was part of a larger effort to help grow Arizona's dynamic and reputable aerospace industry. The FIA 2008 attracted exhibitors from 38 countries, as well as 130,000+ business visitors from around the world. The attached document is a list of the companies we talked to with their websites. Four presentations were delivered at Farnborough 2008 giving an overview of opportunities in the UK defense cector, including how SME's can access this sector.

SACC - USA Trade Seminar

SACC-USA Trade Seminar attracted approximately 15 participants from various industries and organizations, all participants were interacting with the speaker Ola Östlund, present Vice Chairman of SACC-USA, Eliasson Award winner and former president of SACC Los Angeles, throughout the very informative and detailed presentation. Ola closed with a warm invitation to the next Swedish-American Entrepreneurial Days held in Stockholm, Sweden, on September 15^th and 16^th. The SACC Arizona organization have shown remarkable strength and approach to be a community leader in Foreign Trade as a National Chamber with their structured and informative business approach activities. This event concluded to form, on-site, a committee to establish an official Trade Seminar between the Arizona and Swedish officials later this year. The planned upcoming event will secure information exchange and industry specific dialogues including educational seminars and business matchmaking.
