All businesses conducting or soliciting business within the City of Bullhead City need to obtain a Bullhead City Business License and, if applicable, a Bullhead City Transaction Privilege Tax License.

As of March 31, 2009 the City of Bullhead City is a "self collecting" City. This means that the Arizona Department of Revenue no longer collects Bullhead City’s Transaction Privilege taxes on behalf of the City.
