ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE JOINT COLLECTION PROGRAM

The Arizona Department of Revenue issues city transaction privilege tax licenses for cities that have entered into a joint collection program with the state. They are commonly referred to as Program Cities. The fees vary from city to city, and a listing of participating municipalities and fees is provided on the Arizona Joint Tax Application.

The Arizona Joint Tax Application (JT-1) form can be filed online or the form can be downloaded from Arizona Department of Revenue website. Answers to questions can be found on their website or by contacting them.

CITY TAX/LICENSING

Businesses based and/or operating within Program Cities may still be subject to city licensing, permits and/or restrictions. Contact each city/town in which you will be based and any city/town in which you wish to conduct business regarding business compliance requirements.
