Northern Arizona University’s du Bois Center hosted the 2006 Governor's Rural Development Conference on August 16-18, 2006. An incredible 625 participants from across the state gathered in Flagstaff to focus on partnering and statewide economic development. It was a truly successful week! The Arizona Department of Commerce and the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) joined Governor Janet Napolitano in announcing the town of Oro Valley will host the 2007 Governor’s Rural Development Conference.
