  The Paris Air Show (June 17-23, 2013) is the world’s largest aerospace and defense gathering. The International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget will open for its 50th edition. This event, which began more than a century ago, is the world’s oldest and largest aviation show. Since its inception, the show has been at the very heart of the development of the world aviation and space industry. Over the years, it has become one of the industry’s major networking events. It is open to both professionals and the public and generates great interest in aviation careers. In 2011 the  Paris  Air Show  accounted for 2,113 exhibitors from 45 countries from different sectors of the industry such as aircraft construction and assembly, space, spacecraft, satellite  telecommunications, aircraft engines, aerospace power plants and related equipment, airborne equipment and systems (including weapons),subcontracting (mechanical engineering and composite materials, aircraft interiors, maintenance, product support and spares, transport, armed forces and training with the attendance of 360,000 visitors that included trade, general public, official delegations and journalists.

  The Governor’s Celebration of Innovation (GCOI) is the Arizona Technology Council’s annual awards gala in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority that honors technology leaders and innovators from across the state. The event attracts more than 1,000 attendees each year for a night of networking, food and entertainment.

  For 2013, the event will consist of a technology showcase, including a strolling dinner, awards ceremony with a theater style presentation, followed by an after party complete with specialty desserts and live music.
