Arizona Tech Week is a decentralized conference. That means events will be happening across the state. If you’re coming from out of town, we encourage you to get a rental car to move from city to city. Don’t forget to enjoy Arizona’s vibrant landscapes and stunning natural beauty along the way.
Phoenix
The Phoenix metro area is the most populous part of the state. Enjoy limitless restaurants and night life, beautiful golf courses, hiking, sporting events and cultural/arts centers.
Tucson
Located two hours south of Phoenix, this desert city is home to the University of Arizona and is known for its Southwestern culture and cuisine.
Flagstaff
Two hours north of Phoenix is Flagstaff. This mountain town is located right on Historic Route 66. It’s home to Northern Arizona University and the Lowell Observatory and is close to stunning landscapes, including the Grand Canyon.
Transportation
To travel to events in different cities, we recommend renting a car. For local transportation, you have a number of options.
Hotels
You’ll find a mix of chain and boutique hotels in every city. If you’re planning on visiting multiple cities, we suggest staying in Phoenix since it’s the most centrally located. Here are some popular areas of each city:

Not necessarily. Arizona Tech Week is a decentralized conference, meaning events will be happening across the state at venues throughout each city. However, Phoenix is the largest MSA, followed by Tucson, Yuma and Flagstaff, so you can expect a higher concentration of events to happen in these places.
