Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund

The Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund was established by the American Rescue Plan, allocating $10 billion for payments to states, territories and tribal governments to help ensure that all communities have access to high-quality, modern infrastructure. These critical capital projects will directly enable work, education and health monitoring, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The projects must provide broadband connectivity to those who lack it. Eligible applicants will be required to provide a plan describing how they intend to use allocated funds.

The U.S. Treasury will issue guidance and start accepting applications in the summer of 2021.
