Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Funds

The Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Funds were established by the American Rescue Plan, delivering $350 billion for eligible state, local, territorial and Tribal governments to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and return stronger. The use of these funds are flexible in order to meet each community’s needs. These funds may be used to make investments in broadband infrastructure. Broadband investments must establish or improve broadband service to unserved or underserved populations to reach an adequate level to permit a household to work or attend school.

 

Eligibility

  • States, territories, metropolitan cities, counties or Tribal governments*

*Non-entitlement units of government must apply for funds through their applicable state government
