Personal Empowerment: How To Be a Leader vs A Manager

May 12, 2021

Live Webinar

We’ve all seen the movies and know what it takes to be a superhero (and a super leader). The hero is given a superpower, whether by the gods or fate or even a scientific accident and then must learn to harness and channel it for the good. The point is, the gift is external, an accident, it’s something no “ordinary” person can hope to receive.

This course is for the business owner who wants to learn how to awaken their own superpowers in the form of effective leadership. Whether we are trying to lead ourselves, a small work team, or thousands of people around the world, we already have the power—we simply have to nurture and channel it.

8:30 am - 10:30 am

Arizona Commerce Authority, 100 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix AZ - First Floor Conference Center

You’ve Started Your Dream Business … How Can You Understand and Manage All Those Numbers?

You are an Entrepreneur, working in your company every day, all day. You know how to find customers, deliver your product and get your invoices paid. You know how to source your vendors, get them to deliver quality and then get them paid. So why do you need to understand Accounting? The world is full of bookkeepers and accountants whom you can pay to do this work for you, right?!

Well, your business, like everyone else’s is unique. You cannot expect a contracted professional to really understand your company like you do. Understanding fundamentals will allow you to ask the right questions and keep you from getting into trouble. Moreover, it’s your baby. Why do you want to trust someone else to get it right; don’t you need to know how to check the numbers?

Join us for this workshop so you can get a handle on understanding and using basic accounting reports and terms to help you make decisions on your company.

Time:  8:30 am - 10:30 am (registration from 8:00 - 8:30)

July 14, 2021

Arizona Commerce Authority 100 N. 7th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85007 / 1st Floor Conference Center

Are you ready if OSHA shows up at your company? Many companies fear the day when OSHA shows up at their location. At this workshop, you will learn what to expect at the opening and closing conferences and what OSHA is looking for as they inspect your facility. This event is a great precursor to the OSHA 30 event that is taking place in October.
