Kohler Co. Unveils State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility In Casa Grande
CASA GRANDE, AZ (May 15, 2024) – Kohler Co., a global leader in kitchen and bath products, officially opened the doors to its new manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Arizona with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event hosted by company leadership. Among those in attendance were Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, new Kohler associates filling more than 400 full-time positions, state and local officials, and Kohler customers. The one-million-square-foot facility produces STERLING brand bath and shower fixtures and features an innovative manufacturing facility, ancillary warehouse, distribution center, office space, and a showroom for customers and visitors to view leading-edge products.

PHOENIX, AZ (May 14, 2024) – Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs and Gyeonggi Province Governor Dong Yeon Kim signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during a signing ceremony held today in Phoenix, Arizona. The MOU will further collaborative opportunities and strengthen economic ties between Arizona and Gyeonggi Province, Republic of Korea. A visiting delegation of over 35 business leaders from the Republic of Korea, Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, Mesa Mayor John Giles, and local industry and community leaders were witnesses at the MOU signing.

PHOENIX, AZ (May 9, 2024) – Plug and Play accelerateAZ, a program of the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), today celebrated the official launch of the new Sustainability accelerator program that will support the growth of sustainability-focused startups in Arizona. During the event, eight startups pitched as part of the Sustainability accelerator Program Selection Day for the Batch 1 cohort. Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs helped kick off the program alongside Saeed Amidi, Founder and CEO of Plug and Play, Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, corporate partners, sustainability startups and local innovation and community leaders.
