Arizona has a lot to celebrate in manufacturing. Thanks to robust manufacturing gains, Arizona's economic development efforts broke records for the second year in a row. During the 12-month fiscal period that ended June 30, 2022, the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) and local economic development agencies successfully worked with companies that committed to creating a projected 24,186 new Arizona jobs—a single-year record. Those companies also committed to investing $10.75 billion in local communities.
To Celebrate Manufacturing Month, on the first Friday of October, manufacturers across the United States open their doors to students, educators, and legislators to showcase today's latest manufacturing trends and available career opportunities. . In Arizona, manufacturing is celebrated throughout the month with the Annual Manufacturing Summit and educational opportunities.
