2022-09 NOTICE (8/16/2021):
The Arizona Manufacturing Extension Partnership (AZMEP), a program of the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), is pleased to announce the opening of Request for Qualifications (RFQ) # 2022-09. The purpose of this RFQ is to identify qualified consultants who can provide advisory and program development services within several focus categories to small- and medium-sized Arizona manufacturers.

Request for Grant Applications (RGA)

2022-31 NOTICE (03/07/2021):
The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), in conjunction with Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), is pleased to announce the opening of the FY2022 Economic Strength Projects (ESP) Grant.
The ESP is a competitive grant program designed to enhance the economic strength and competitiveness of Arizona rural communities by providing funding for highway projects that foster job growth. The ESP will reimburse specified costs of qualifying rural road and/or highway projects that are projected to accomplish one or more of the following:

  • Significantly increase the number of new jobs;
  • Foster significant private capital investment; and
  • Otherwise make a significant contribution to the regional economy, particularly in base industries.

2022-28 NOTICE (11/15/2021):

The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is pleased to announce the opening of Request for Grant Applications (RGA) # 2022-28, for the Arizona Broadband Development Grant FY2022 (ABDG).

The ABDG is a competitive grant program designed to help Arizona communities establish and accelerate the enhancement of broadband infrastructure that strengthens their capacity and competitiveness for economic growth and thereby ultimately improves economic conditions and quality of life in rural Arizona.

The submission window for this RGA closed on January 31, 2022.

4/29/22 UPDATE - PROJECT NARRATIVE COMMENT PERIOD (April 29, 2022 - May 5, 2022)

In accordance with RGA Section 3.1, the ACA has made available the project narratives from each of the eligible applications.

At this time, existing broadband service providers will have a 7-day window to voluntarily submit to the ACA (via email to procurement@azcommerce.com) information about the broadband services they offer in any of the proposed service areas a covered partnership designates for funding.

The ACA will consider comments of existing broadband service providers as a factor in its evaluation of the project proposal provided that they include the following information:

  1. The name of the company providing information on its broadband service offerings
  2. The number of households and businesses that have access to broadband service in that portion of the provider’s service territory that overlaps with the applicants’ proposed service area by census block and the number lacking access to broadband service as defined in this NOFO
  3. The type of broadband services the provider offers in its service territory by census block and the technology used to provide those services
  4. The speed of the broadband services that are offered
  5. The number of subscribers that the provider currently has for each of the broadband services it offers in its service territory by census block
  6. Maps indicating where they provide broadband service in an applicants’ proposed service area

Comments must be emailed to:procurement@azcommerce.com by May 5, 2022 by 5PM MST. The ACA will not accept comment from a provider regarding their own proposal(s).

The current target date for award notification is June 30, 2022. Please refrain from submitting update requests regarding evaluation at this time. The ACA cannot respond to inquiries regarding the evaluation status (reference RGA Section 2.2).
