Semifinalists Are Announced for the ACA Innovation Challenge

Winners to be selected in the coming weeks

 

PHOENIX, AZ (February 4, 2011) — The “Top 25″ have been selected as competition narrows for the ACA’s Arizona Innovation Challenge. Beginning early next week, the ACA will award $1.5 million to companies creating jobs in Arizona for innovators in renewable energy and sustainability, bio and life sciences, electronics, information technology, aerospace and defense, and advanced manufacturing.

The proposals were screened by an advisory panel from both the public and private sectors. Applications were narrowed to 25 from 108 total applicants.
