Marriott to Offer Discounts for Film Industry in Arizona
PHOENIX, AZ (September 26, 2018) — Arizona Film & Digital Media, a program of the Arizona Commerce Authority, today announced a sponsorship with Arizona Marriott Hotels & Resorts to offer discounts to those in the entertainment industry who are producing projects in Arizona. The sponsorship will allow those registered with the Reel Savings program to stay in designated Marriott properties around the state at reduced rates.
The Marriott sponsorship package includes room discounts, rebates, reward points and other amenities the chain currently offers to corporate clients and groups. The package is available at participating locations.
Reel Savings is a private sector program that supports Arizona's film and digital media industry. Participating vendors, like hoteliers, rental car operators, and restaurants and other businesses provide special discounts to registered industry participants. This creates immediate savings for filmmakers with no delays or paperwork. The program is available to those who are scouting, filming, finishing post-production work, acting or participating in other support roles.

To be eligible for the Reel Savings program, Arizona-based crew members, talent and support vendors must be listed in the Arizona Film & Digital Media Production Directory, while out-of-state filmmakers must register their projects with the Arizona Film & Digital Media program. All participants will receive a user number which enables them to access the discounts.
