Sandra Watson Applauds Governor Hobbs Budget To Grow Arizona Momentum

 

PHOENIX, AZ (January 13, 2023) — President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority Sandra Watson today released the following statement on the release of Governor Hobbs’ budget.

 

“Governor Hobbs’ executive budget promises to build on Arizona’s rising momentum, with sizeable investments announced for K-12 education, universities and community colleges, workforce training, water security, and more. The governor also is making good on her commitment to prioritize rural communities, announcing a $50 million investment to expand broadband for rural Arizona. Investing in digital infrastructure for underserved communities is crucial to building an Arizona for everyone. I look forward to working with the governor and our legislative partners this session to strengthen Arizona’s economy and further grow opportunities for everyone in our state.”
