ACA Opens Call for Events During Inaugural Arizona Tech Week

PHOENIX, AZ (November 13, 2025) –
As Arizona continues to strengthen its position as a global leader in technology and innovation, the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) today announced it is accepting event submissions for Arizona Tech Week — the state’s first-ever decentralized, statewide tech conference. Taking place April 6–12, 2026, the weeklong celebration will feature events across Arizona, spotlighting the state’s dynamic tech ecosystem.

From semiconductors and AI to renewable energy, automated vehicles, and more, Arizona has emerged as North America’s premier hub for technologies driving the future.

Arizona Tech Week will showcase Arizona’s innovation leadership, leveraging a distributed event model that empowers the tech community to host affiliated events through a simple, host-managed approval process. Those interested in hosting an event at Arizona Tech Week are invited to submit their event form on the Arizona Tech Week website.

“Arizona stands at the forefront of global technology innovation,” said Governor Katie Hobbs. “With a dynamic ecosystem that’s home to industry leaders, innovative startups, and a thriving entrepreneurial community, we’re driving innovation with next-generation technologies.”

As Arizona Tech Week’s presenting host, the ACA will collect, review, and approve event submissions. The ACA will leverage Partiful, a third-party software to offer event hosts a standardized RSVP management system, free of charge. The tool enables event hosts to track, manage, and communicate with event attendees.

“We are excited to begin accepting event submissions for the first and highly anticipated Arizona Tech Week,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “A big thanks to Honeywell Aerospace Technologies for their support as well as all our partners across the state working to make Arizona Tech Week a success.”

Three featured events are being announced for Arizona Tech Week:

  • On April 7, Plug and Play accelerateAZ will host an Innovation Expo;
  • On April 7, Moonshot, an organization that supports rural Arizona entrepreneurship, will host the Moonshot Tech Innovation With An Altitude event in Flagstaff;
  • On April 9, Venture Madness, in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority, will host its annual pitch competition.

Arizona Tech Week is being organized in partnership with the Arizona Venture Alliance, a leading coalition of more than three dozen investors, startups, and tech ecosystem leaders advancing opportunities for Arizona-based startups and entrepreneurs.
