This all-in-one online resource empowers Arizona's truck drivers by providing valuable insights and connections, equipping users with the tools needed to confidently navigate the trucking industry. The website features an advanced AI Trucking Assistant that offers personalized support from earning a CDL, navigating Arizona regulations, to financial planning and job searching, in addition to a library of educational resources.

Governor Hobbs Announces Nearly $8 Million to Support Arizona Small Businesses

PHOENIX, AZ (September 17, 2024) – Today, Governor Katie Hobbs and the Arizona Commerce Authority announced Arizona will receive a $7.9 million grant from the U.S. Department of Treasury as part of their State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Investing in America Small Business Opportunity Program (SBOP). Since taking office, Governor Hobbs has met with countless small business owners and understands the need for increased access to capital. Recognizing this, Governor Hobbs identified this grant as a priority to connect small businesses in key areas – manufacturing, clean energy, semiconductors – to historic investment opportunities that allow them to thrive in Arizona’s economic ecosystem. The funding will be used to expand and enhance already successful small business programs.

ACA Launches New Tools To Support Arizona Small Businesses

PHOENIX, AZ (May 8, 2024) – Access to capital ranks as one of the largest barriers facing small business owners. To promote small business stability, growth, and success, especially among entrepreneurs from underserved communities, Governor Hobbs and the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) have partnered with community financial institutions and mentors to launch a new suite of small business support programs. The  ACA has launched the Arizona Loan Guarantee Program, which helps partnering lenders mitigate risk so they can increase capital available to small businesses located across the state.

How The Small Business Boot Camp Bolsters Arizona’s Small Business Community

PHOENIX, AZ (April 29, 2024) – The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) celebrated the fourth anniversary of the Small Business Boot Camp, an award-winning program that connects entrepreneurs and small business leaders with local experts who provide support, guidance and resources through free weekly, educational webinars. Launched on April 27, 2020, the Small Business Boot Camp has become a sustaining resource for small businesses across Arizona. Since 2020, the ACA and its partners have hosted 350 Small Business Boot Camp sessions and over 17,400 entrepreneurs have participated.
