The Arizona Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Arizona MEP) and Eller Executive Education have partnered together to develop the first-of-its-kind series of courses called the Arizona Manufacturing Extension Partnership’s Leadership Academy. This academy was strategically designed for Arizona manufacturing leaders who typically send others to training to have a place they can go to take their own career to the next level.
Coaching At Work: Building A Productive Culture
Coaching and long-term success in safety-centered culture can be attributed to those leaders who build strong, collaborative, and focused teams. Leaders who create a culture of open communication and development see themselves and their teams as “mutually accountable” for outcomes, providing feedback and support to achieve goals and increase retention rates. When a leader engages her/his team by defining the way in which it works together and contributes, team members hold a strong and shared vision of the future, feel comfortable in asking for, giving, and receiving feedback from the others, and are focused on improving themselves and others.
Attending this session will empower leaders to:
- Learn how to make time to observe and coach others
- Actively listen and seek insights into challenges and goals
- Coach for development and engagement
- Provide Developmental feedback and engage in difficult conversations
Time: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (registration from 7:30 - 8:00)
