The Arizona State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) program supports small businesses by improving their access to capital. The initiative is part of a broader federal effort to help small businesses grow and create jobs. The program provides funding to state programs that partner with private lenders to extend capital to small businesses that might not otherwise have access to loans or investment capital.

Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive economy.
SCALE (Strategic Coaching for Advancing Local Entrepreneurs) is a statewide initiative developed by the Arizona Small Business Association in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority. The program is committed to strengthening Arizona’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by delivering accessible, expert-led education and personalized coaching to small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.

From record-breaking events and major investments to new partnerships and workforce expansions, Arizona’s manufacturing ecosystem was on full display. Arizona continues to outpace the nation in manufacturing growth with a 10% increase in manufacturing employment from 2019 to 2024 — more than 10x the national average. In October, Arizona hosted SEMICON West for the first time, drawing thousands of global tech leaders and setting new attendance records — a 60% increase in registrations and nearly 50% more exhibitors. The event reinforced Arizona’s position as North America’s Semiconductor Headquarters.
