Ambulance (Air/Ground)

All ambulances operating in the State of Arizona are required to be registered with the Department of Health Services, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services & Trauma System (BEMSTS). The BEMSTS processes applications for registration, inspects all air and ground ambulances in Arizona, issues Certificates of Necessity (CON) for ambulance service areas, sets rates for licensed ambulance services, and investigates complaints against ambulance providers.
