Marriage and family therapists, counselors, social workers and substance abuse counselors providing psychotherapy services in Arizona must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. (24)

The Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners licenses psychologists and regulates the practice of psychology (assessment, diagnosis, treatment or correction of mental, emotional, behavioral or psychological abilities, illnesses or disorders). In addition, the Board licenses behavior analysts. (24)
