Arizona Motion Picture Production ProgramFacilities Registration

Under terms of the Arizona Motion Picture Production Program (MPPP), production companies are required to utilize film and digital media businesses and facilities that are designated as a QUALIFIED PRODUCTION FACILITY (QPF), which provides a minimum soundstage of at least 10,000 ft2, and/or an INDUSTRY STANDARD FACILITY (ISF). 

We invite film and digital media companies to register facilities located in Arizona as such,IF THEY MEET either or both  of the following definitions below

By electing to register your facility as a Qualified Production Facility (QPF) and/or an Industry Standard Facility (ISF) within the Arizona Production Directory (under the Support Services section) you are agreeing to the additional Terms and Conditions below.

NOTE: Registration and listing on this site does not guarantee that a facility meets the legal requirements of a QPF or an ISF, and the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) reserves the right to review a facility’s eligibility to be designated as such, to remove facilities from the directory that do not meet the required criteria and to deny applications for tax credits under the MPPP in the event facilities utilized by applicants fail to meet the legal requirements for a QPF or ISF, as applicable.  

TERMS & CONDITIONS 
By answering YES to the statement(s) below during the registration of your facility in our online Arizona Production Directory, you certify that you are authorized by the business to make the following statement(s) and that they are true and accurate. You further authorize representatives of the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), the right to verify and validate, by any means or method it adopts, your affirmative response(s) to the statement(s), including but not limited to, a physical site visit of your business facility. The ACA may remove your facility designation, if unable to verify or validate your claim. 

Qualified Production Facility means a structure that is built for film industry purposes, is located in this state, contains dedicated soundstage space that is at least ten thousand (10,000) contiguous square feet which may be partitionable, and meets generally accepted industry standards, including standards for soundproofing, lighting, air conditioning, and Motion Picture Production quality technology for producing, filming, or otherwise creating a Motion Picture Production. 

“Industry Standard Facility” means a facility that, in the judgment of the Authority, has the required equipment and capabilities that meet generally minimal requirements followed by establishments primarily engaged in producing motion pictures, videos, television programs, or commercial advertisement messages. These specialized capabilities may include but are not limited to mixing facilities, Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) rooms, screening facilities, flexible technical creative spaces designed to support picture, sound, visual effects, color or sound workflows, pre-production, and post-production support office spaces, secure data centers/technical hubs, operations support centers, and maintenance facilities, and is supported by appropriate power, connectivity, water, security, and related technical infrastructure.  

HOW TO REGISTER 

To register as a Qualified Production Facility and/or an Industry Standard Facility, simply elect the appropriate designation(s) during the registration process in the Support Services section of our Arizona Production Directory.   

During registration, you will have the ability to elect to affirm the following statement(s) below or leave them blank. 

____ Yes, my business facility meets the definition of a "Qualified Production Facility" for productions seeking to use our services in application for the Arizona Motion Picture Production Program tax incentive as defined within the MPPP Rules & Guidelines. “Qualified Production Facility” means a structure that is built for film industry purposes, is located in this state, and contains dedicated soundstage space that is at least ten thousand (10,000 ft2) contiguous square feetwhich may be partitionable, and meets generally accepted industry standards, including standards for soundproofing, lighting, air conditioning, and Motion Picture Production quality technology for producing, filming or otherwise creating a Motion Picture Production.

Search by category the Support Services section of the Arizona Production Directory. Vendors have COLOR coded designations for being a Qualified Production Facility (Red Dots), and/or Industry Standard Facility (Green Dots).
