Smart Road Side Unit (RSU)
IAM members Arizona Department of Transportation, Intel, University of Arizona, Cohda and Maricopa County Department of Transportation are developing a 5G-integrated Smart Road Side Unit (RSU). This project lays the foundation for the future of smart intersections, leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance safety. IAM members will advance smart RSU with AI-based vision analytics, cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) communications and edge computing.
